Best Practices in Training the HCBS Workforce

Good training programs are critical components of a strong workforce system. This session will provide an overview of national trends in training workers to provide supports and services in home and community based settings. Participants will hear about a variety of types of training for workers that serve different populations as well, as different modes of training delivery, such as traditional classroom training, Internet-based training, and train-the-trainer models.
