This handout contains recommendations received from stakeholders to recruit, retain, and improve the perceived paraprofessional status of the direct service workforce in Texas, and was given as part of Elyse Luke's presentation on multi-stakeholder initiatives at the 2008 Symposium on Strengthening the HCBS Workforce.
